I currently live in Parker, Arizona; have been married 49 years. We have 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Debbie and I have lived in Arizona since her retirement in 2008, bringing us close to family members and a killer view of the Colorado River from our home. Three years later I retired. In your own travels, how many times have you drove past a country vista and thought, that would be a cool place to live? In this case the negative is really hot summers, but the river is just a couple hundred yards away, and traveling is always an option. Our National Parks have always been a big interest to us, and it's a good break from the heat. We're happy! My hobbies these days have been narrowed down to photography and playing music. Long gone are the days of surfing, skiing, racket sports and weight lifting. Several back surgeries put an end to all that fun. Debbie has several crafts that keep her busy; sewing, crocheting, drawing, painting, etc.
