I retired from Kaiser Permanente after 30 years as a Registered Dietitian. I've been making pine needle baskets since 2011 and won 2 ribbons last year at the Kern County Fair. Currently I'm teaching pine needle basketry to nuns at the Nobertine Monastery in Tehachapi. I also sell them on etsy.com. I've been married 18 years; have 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
